We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, or where you may not be fully satisfied with a service. This policy outlines our approach to refunds, cancellations, and service satisfaction.
We stand behind the quality of our work and strive to ensure every client has a positive experience. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our procedures regarding refunds and cancellations.
Service Bookings and Deposits
Booking Confirmation
When you book a consultation or service with us, you may be required to pay a deposit or the full service fee at the time of booking. This confirms your appointment slot and allows us to prepare adequately for your session. Booking confirmations will be sent to the email address you provide.
Deposit Amounts
Deposit requirements vary by service:
- Essential Color Analysis: 50% deposit at booking, remaining balance due at appointment
- Premium Color Consultation: 50% deposit at booking, remaining balance due at appointment
- Complete Style Package: Full payment required at booking
- Wardrobe Audit Services: 50% deposit at booking
- Personal Shopping Sessions: Full payment required at booking
Cancellation Policy
Client-Initiated Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Our cancellation terms are as follows:
- More than 7 days before appointment: Full refund of any payments made, minus a small administrative fee of $25
- 4-7 days before appointment: 75% refund of payments made
- 48-72 hours before appointment: 50% refund of payments made
- Less than 48 hours before appointment: No refund available, but you may reschedule within 30 days subject to availability
- No-show: No refund available and forfeiture of booking
Company-Initiated Cancellations
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to consultant illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs:
- We will notify you as soon as possible via phone and email
- You will be offered a choice of rescheduling at a convenient time or receiving a full refund
- If you choose to reschedule, we will prioritize your booking
Rescheduling Policy
We offer flexibility in rescheduling appointments under the following terms:
- First reschedule request made more than 48 hours before appointment: No fee
- First reschedule request made less than 48 hours before appointment: $50 rescheduling fee
- Second and subsequent reschedule requests: $75 rescheduling fee each
- All rescheduled appointments must take place within 60 days of the original date
To reschedule, please contact us via phone or email with your preferred alternative dates and times. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Refund Policy for Services
Service Satisfaction
We want you to be completely satisfied with your image consulting experience. If you are not satisfied with a service you have received, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment to discuss your concerns. We will work with you to address any issues, which may include:
- A follow-up consultation at no additional charge
- A partial refund based on the specific circumstances
- An alternative service of equivalent value
Refund Eligibility
Refunds for completed services are considered on a case-by-case basis. Factors we consider include:
- Whether the service was delivered as described
- The nature of your dissatisfaction
- Whether you communicated concerns during the service
- The portion of the service completed
Please note that subjective preferences or changes in personal taste after a service has been completed do not typically qualify for refunds, as our services are personalized and cannot be resold.
Gift Certificates and Packages
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are non-refundable but are transferable. They must be redeemed within 12 months of the purchase date. After this period, the certificate expires and no refund or extension will be provided.
Package Deals
If you have purchased a package of multiple services and wish to cancel partway through:
- Completed services will be charged at full individual rates
- Any remaining credit will be refunded according to our standard cancellation policy
- Package discounts only apply if all services in the package are completed

Refund Processing
Once your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used
- Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
Exceptions and Special Circumstances
We recognize that extraordinary circumstances sometimes occur. If you believe your situation warrants an exception to this policy, please contact us directly to discuss. We will review each case individually and make decisions based on the specific circumstances.
